I went in for my mid-pregnancy detailed ultrasound. Unfortunately, Brian was unable to be there, so the perinatologist and nurse were happy to oblige by writing down the sex of the baby and giving me a sealed letter to take home so we could read it together.
Later that evening, we opened the letter together and it said, "You're having a baby GIRL!" How neat. Real confirmation that Abby is getting a sister. Now comes the hard part: what to name her?
