This appointment is to determine whether or not the fluid level is adequate. The baby performs spectacularly on the non-stress test, but the amniotic fluid is still low. At lest we have a unequivocal confirmation that we've got a little girl! Unfortuntely, Dr. Borow puts Lauren on modified bedrest and she's stuck at home until things improve or she's far enough along to deliver. Now it's weekly perinatal appointments to check the fluid level. AFI is 8.7
